Interaction.
Isn’t that what it is all about?
How we interact with people, our jobs, our dreams, our challenges,
our relationships. They ground our life and make up our day-to-day
living.
But that’s no it, it is accompanied by our personal daily encounters.
How we experience people and utensils.
How we feel about tasks or events.
Plus a bit of simplicity - just a word but so complex to achieve.
And last but not least: technology - an ancient science which tries
everyday to make our life better and more profound. How truly
fascinating it is!
This is it.
This is all about me. {read more}
If I had to squeeze my profile into a definition, I would say:
I am a good thinker, who likes to observe, feel and understand, in
order to provide tools, applications, experience and technology to
support human interactions for achieving a task, a purpose or a
service in a simple and straightforward manner, with attention to
details and high quality standards.
I have been working with the Internet for more then a decade
now and made it my profession 6 years ago, when, while in Milan
working as Account Manager, I got a call from SAS Head Office
in Stockholm notifying me of a vacancy at the current ecommerce
department.
That call gave me the possibility to gather experience on a
professional enterprise platform, one of the biggest ecommerce
websites in Scandinavia, working with:
CMS implementation, Web analytics, SEO, AB and MV testing,
online marketing, UX and ID, IA, project management, RIA
application and system architecture.
My current title at SAS head office is “Head of Ecommerce
Development” which include the challenging task to take forward
technology innovation in the online sales areas, with a strong
focus on sales and revenue performance in a complex legacy
environment.
I love conceptualizing and I believe that not all great ideas have
yet been materialized.
I strongly believe that the internet didn’t really bring anything new
to our daily life, it just transformed it:
The “forum” is similar to an old public open marketplace in an antic
roman city.
The “social network” is nothing but a public stage where anybody
can present him- or herself to the best of his or her abilities.
The “email” is but our postman delivering a letter to our mailbox.
The “chat” just a new way of practicing conversation without using
spoken words.
The “shopping carts” on the ecommerce platforms is just that: The
same cart concept used in the last decades in any super market in
this world.
The “search engine” is just a street sign, there to facilitate the
newcomer to find his way through a city.
So, it really is just that: Look around your day-to-day life and your
needs.
We strive to introduce new technologies to make life easier,
simpler and faster for you.
I know what you are thinking now and most likely you
misunderstood me, I didn’t say it’s easy, I just said that I see it
clearly and demystified. So if you want to find out more, feel free to
